You are invited - Sunday @11:30

Hope is...

Hope is a desire to see something turn out for the best.

Some hope for the best tomorrow,
some hope for the best social outcomes,
and some hope that they will live forever.

Unfortunately, one's life will eventually end. One can alter a lifestyle to live longer than most people; however, those adjustments cannot remove death from one's timeline. Have you considered what happens after death?

According to the Bible, one's life is followed by spiritual death.

It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment

Hebrews 9:27

To make matters worse, the Bible says that we deserve this spiritual death because...

...all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God

Romans 3:23

In this hopeless human condition, the Bible offers hope:

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 5:8

Jesus loves you so much. His death on the cross was in your place to keep you from perishing in spiritual death.

For God so loved the world,
that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life.

John 3:16

It is now up to you to receive the gift of God through faith.

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

Romans 5:1

Choose Jesus. Turn your heart to Him. You will find that He offers true hope to anyone searching for Him.

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Romans 10:13

God loves you, and everyone can find hope in God's acceptance. God's favour is not earned - it is freely given.

If you want to experience God's love personally, we invite you to join our family as we study God's word. In the Bible, you will find encouragement, strength, and new purpose as you fellowship with others who desire the same goal.

Our church warmly welcomes you to visit this Sunday at 10:30. We meet in the corner office of Paciuksenkaari 8, 00270 Helsinki. If there is anything we can do for you, please let us know through our contact form or email hei@beroianbaptisti.fi.
